Showreel Scenes

As an actor your first hurdle is getting into the audition room. The primary way to do this is for you or your agent to send a showreel demonstrating your abilities. When starting out, you may not have enough material to showcase your acting range.

Our primary service is to shoot high end scenes that show your talent and build out your showreel to get you in that room.

Will I need to supply my own script?

No-one knows your strengths as an actor better than you, so we leave it you to source your own scene. We do have some writing experience though, so we can help you to adapt or improve your script if necessary.

Where will my scene be shot?

We encourage you to source your own locations for shooting, however if your script has a domestic setting, Rob’s home can be made available as a location.

How long will my finished scene be?

We aim for scenes to be between 2-3 minutes in length. When sourcing a script this means you are looking for roughly 2 pages (script-format) in length.

How long will it take to film my scene?

One scene takes approximately half a day to shoot. If you ask us to make multiple scenes then we can shoot two in a day. It is possible to shoot three, but our feeling is this degrades the quality and doesn’t do you justice.

How quickly will I get to see my scene?

We are usually able to turn a scene around within two weeks and we will keep you informed throughout the process.

Do you do discounts on multiple scenes?

If we shoot more than one scene, can I have different co-actors in each?

Yes you can. When shooting two or more scenes you may prefer to have a different partner in each to ensure variety within your showreel.

How much does it cost to shoot a scene?

Are there any hidden costs?

We try to be as transparent as possible with all costs. Our pricing page includes a breakdown of optional extras, but none of these are compulsory and we won’t do anything you haven’t asked for.

What areas do you cover?

We are based in Stockport, and will work within a 20 mile radius at no extra cost. However we are happy to work further afield if you are happy to cover our travel expenses.

Showreel Editing

Regardless of whether you’ve had us shoot a scene for you, or if you already have plenty of examples of your work, you’re going to need the best bits made into a showreel.

We offer a full showreel service where we will take the moments that best represent you and stitch them together into a professional reel. 

You can be as involved or hands-off as you would like during this process.

Perhaps you have an existing showreel that needs updating. Just send us your reel and your new scenes and we’ll update it for you for an hourly fee. 

If You are just adding in new scenes shot by us, we offer a low fixed price as an optional extra to all our packages.

Monologues

Monologues are a good way to add some variety into your showreel and prove that you can act without needing to continually bounce off of a partner.

Our monologue shoots show the same care and attention to detail as our scene packages, but without the need to have a partner, and at a lower cost.

Audition Tapes

If you have an upcoming self-tape audition, a good way to stand out is to have a much higher quality video than your competition. Whilst a scene shot on an iPhone is perfectly adequate to display your performance, a well shot, well lit, well framed performance with great sound quality will set you apart.

We keep the costs for this down by having you come to us and having a simple solid colour backdrop so as not to distract from your performance.
